BMT Consulting was founded by Bruce M. Tartaglione, a proven aftermarket veteran with over 40 years of industry experience and expertise. He performs multiple roles at BMT—subject matter expert, a guide and support representative for sellers, and a partner for warehouse distributors looking to drive and manage strategic growth.

Most recently, Tartaglione served as a senior strategist for Airtex-ASC. Prior to this role, he held many senior management positions in the automotive aftermarket industry, including senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Brake Parts Inc., vice president of traditional aftermarket at United Components Inc., vice president of sales and marketing at Wells Manufacturing, and vice president of sales at BWD Automotive.

Today, he also serves as a partner with Schwartz Advisors, working with clients on both the buy and sell sides of aftermarket M&A—and as a subject matter expert for PE firms.

Throughout his career, Tartaglione has worked closely with customers on strategic sales and marketing initiatives while fostering corporate cultures that support long-term customer relationships. He has been active in many industry organizations, including the Automotive Sales Council, Auto Care Association and Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA).
